Agrarian
Artefacts provides a unique range of antiques and artefacts
for the garden, patio and conservatory. The collection has
been brought together under the banner of Agrarian Artefacts
by Garry Bracegirdle. He advises that the venture was born
following the restoration of an antique mobile sheep feeder,
which was found in the grounds of his thatched cottage and
gardens at Mobberley, near Knutsford, Cheshire. Following restoration,
his wife Valerie 'requisitioned' the artefact and utilised
it as a rather grand planter - much to the amusement of the
local farmers!
The couple started to collect other rural antiques such as butter churns, pony
carts, spinning wheels and milk churns. These were used to form the basis of
artistic plant displays within their cottage garden with its newly planted wildflower
meadow. Creatively planted artefacts and antiques became a passion and Garry's
new venture Agrarian Artefacts was born.
